Enterprise Storage Management w/ FolderSizes

I've received quite a few emails lately from corporations who have successfully integrated BulletProof FolderSizes into their storage management plans, and I've learned some interesting things from these conversations.

Many of the IS / IT people I talk with use BulletProof FolderSizes to streamline their disk space backup processes. With FolderSizes, it's easy to scan local and network drives to determine how best to "cut the fat" prior to running scheduled backups. Someone recently told me that they used FolderSizes to decrease the time required to perform nightly backups by over 40%.

FolderSizes is also often used to hold network attached storage users accountable for the disk space they consume. Network and storage administrators can quickly generate reports that help to evaluate the distribution of storage resources. Admins can even use FolderSizes' ability to generate HTML reports from the command-line to publish reports to a web server folder.

Anyway, these are just a couple examples of real-world use cases. Don't forget, I love to hear how people are using BulletProof FolderSizes out in the wild - always feel free to email me with your thoughts.
